The following are examples of projects that have been completed by American Marine Constructors, Inc.
Chicago Shoreline Repair Project: I-55 to 30th Street Repair of approximately 1,900 feet of existing promenade and revetment stairs and construction of an additional 1,400 feet of steel sheet pile shoreline revetment wall, backfilled and capped with concrete promenade and revetment stairs. Project included 58,200 square feet of steel sheet pile tied back with 22,700 lineal feet of battered and vertical H-Pile; 54,423 tons of underwater toe stone ranging in size up to 10 tons per stone; 59,000 tons of other fill stone and 12,100 cubic yards of reinforced concrete.

Lordship Point, Stratford, Connecticut Project required the remediation of soils and sediments to remove lead shot and target fragments (PNA's)at a former gun club in Long Island Sound. The first phase required the design, fabrication, and full-scale production of a process plant to demonstrate that the cleanup standards were met. This was followed by the mechanical excavation/dredging, processing the materials, and hydraulically backfilling the cleaned materials on a continuous basis to their point of origin. A total of 600,000 pounds of lead shot was successfully removed from 77,000 cubic yards of processed material.
